The Crown Property Bureau won an honorable UNESCO Award

The Crown Property Bureau project in Chachoengsao, the restoration of English-style neo-classical single-storey building, received an honorable mention at the annual UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Awards. The project was claimed in setting the standard of restoring buildings with historic value.

opportunity to Interior Architecture 103 Co., Ltd was offered honorable opportunity in bringing the building back to its genuine character based on the Fine Arts Departmentís blueprint. All of the orginal details were carefully maintained. Some materials were thoughtfully replaced by modern materials for appropriation and stability.

According to the UNESCO guideline, the value and significance of this building falls into two categories: cultural value, and contemporary economic and social value. The restoration has given new life to the important heritage site. It boosted local pride and revitalized the historic urban and the waterfront.
